The Society of Composers is a community at the Berklee College of Music that provides students with a network of composers and musicians, who all share a passion for making new music.
This concert was curated to create opportunities for student works to be performed—both for the enjoyment of friends, family, and peers and to support the growth and future prospects of young composers.
The program featured 12 original pieces by students at Berklee College of Music, each showcasing a distinct background, major, and artistic voice. Several of these works were brought to life by the Society of Composers Ensemble, making for an evening of collaboration and discovery.
Looking back, this concert aimed to provide a meaningful platform for emerging composers, allowing their music to be heard and celebrated.
