This concert is born from a deeply personal desire to finally experience the artistry of the remarkable pianists around me. As a composer and collaborator at Peabody, I have been privileged to interact and work alongside these musicians, yet I rarely have the opportunity to hear their performances as soloists. This program aims to honor their artistry, bring their voices to the forefront, and provide them with a space to share music that speaks to their lives at this moment.

To complement their performances, I am inviting a guest pianist from New York to present one of my own compositions. This reflects my role as both a composer and a facilitator of musical dialogue, connecting performers with their audience and each other in meaningful ways.
