Stepping to the next stone(2024)

I curated this concert to feature all the current Doctorate students from Felipe Lara’s studio who are still in progress with their degrees. As we prepare to take the next steps beyond academia, this concert serves as a special opportunity to showcase our work together. Each of us will be moving in different directions, and this event is a way to celebrate our transitions—much like a collective graduation photo.

The performers in this concert are also at pivotal moments in their journeys, either preparing for their next steps or beginning a new chapter at Peabody Conservatory.

This concert features works by Young-Jun Lee, Yoonjung Lee, Heather (Hyoeun) Ahn, Jia Yi Lee, Zac Fick-Cambria, David Carlton Adams, and our mentor, Felipe Lara.
