Trio at Three

Since 2023, I have been in continuous collaboration with violinist Dan Qiao, curating a concert that highlights her and her piano trio colleagues, Tyler Michael James (cello) and Markus Kaitila (piano). As a co-founder of the New Uncertainty Collective, I sought to curate a program featuring works by the collective's members, providing a platform to showcase my colleagues. I selected compositions whose instrumentations were either for piano trio or its subsets.

Additionally, I wanted to present the Baltimore premiere of my string trio, which led me to invite violist Seoyeon Jun to join this project. The concert featured works by all four members of the New Uncertainty Collective—myself (Young-Jun Lee), Jia Yi Lee, David Carlton Adams, and Zac Fick-Cambria—alongside compositions by Aaron Zimmer, Yan Fang, and Will Martin.
